Why is epidemiology important in public health nursing?

The significance of Epidemiology and how it relates to Nursing Epidemiology is the study of the determinants and distribution of health related events or states counting disease and the implementation of the study to the authority of disease and other health problem.

Using knowledge of epidemiology, the community health nurses can set priorities for health programs according to the instantiations health needs. Using knowledge of epidemiology, they set up the health resources more successfully, by giving more importance to urgent health problems needing concentration.

 Epidemiological studies can probably provide reasonable advantages to the way nurses include health-related practices into their important role. Research also offers a valuable chance for the nursing profession to become more active in helping to control health policy issues

Community health nurses use epidemiological ideas to increase the health of community groups by recognize danger and optimal detains that lessens disease risk.
